* While there is an extensive body of evidence about the importance of engagement with faculty for undergraduate students, there is a shortage of scholarly attention to the experiences of graduate and professional students * Diverse contributors include tenure-track and tenured faculty as well as graduate students with expertise in topics such as: student-faculty interactions, college impact and environments, student engagement, race and equity, mentoring, and college student development. * Covers three salient and critical topics associated with student-faculty engagement for graduate and professional students: a) curriculum and teaching, b) identity and experiences, and c) graduate and professional student mentoring.
