Thanks to Laura Latuule, Rentt achieves the next stage of evolution, and is reborn as a vampire! He returns to Maalt's Second Orphanage, both to check on Sister Lillian's health and to ask if he and Lorraine can take on Alize as an apprentice.

Little does Rentt know that two figures are approaching Maalt. One is a saint of the Church of Lobelia, and the other is a famous...vampire hunter?! Can Rentt survive this duo, or will his undead life come to an end?
