The Cambridge Secondary Course is designed for learners of English aged 12-16 in Educació Secundària Obligatòria (ESO). The approach is based on the whole educational context of learning English at school. The Teacher's Book contains a complete introduction to the course and its rationale, in Catalan, and shows clearly how all the material relates to LOGSE requirements. Full lesson notes are provided, with options and photocopiable worksheets for mixed-ability classes, together with a reference section on methodology, and advice and suggestions for evaluation. Level 4 is arranged in six themes. Each of the themes is introduced by a section descibing it according to the aims, topics, concepts, skills, strategies and attitudes covered. The distribution of the material is related to the organisation of the teaching year into core and optional credits.
