The ARC stands for the "architecture" or "artistry" of river culture, and contains an elegant and geometric approach that celebrates and records the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project in Korea. The multi-purpose pavilion for culture and leisure, located at the junction of the Kumho and Nakdong Rivers and designed by US-based Asymptote Architecture, is here the subject of an in-depth exploration of its history and fruition, from site to design concept, and from material to exhibition plan. Included are numerous highly detailed drawings, stunning photographs, and ample texts elucidating the project's every aspect, plus an interview with Asymptote principal Hani Rashid.
