Shakespearean Entrances offer a systematic study of entrances and exits on the Shakespearean stage. Through analyzing the surviving play-texts, the author attempts to identify the unspoken but standard rules that lay behind the minimal and conventionalized stage directions 'Enter' and 'Exit'/'Exeunt'.
