I loved this authors first book but this one just wasn’t as good . It was hard to follow going between time periods and skipping generations. It just felt disjointed and halway through it still had no point to any sort of plot . Just was a huge disappointment after his first book Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for reviewi copy
