"Plasma medicine uses non-equilibrium plasmas generated under atmospheric-pressure conditions. Therapeutical plasmas can stimulate tissue regeneration or inactivate cancer cells. This book reviews the interrelation between plasma chemistry and biochemistry complemented by discussion of the ways plasmas inactivate various pathogens.
