Prescription for Madness is a powerful, heart wrenching story of a family whose lives are turned upside down when their oldest child, Christopher, is diagnosed with a mental illness at the age of sixteen. After Christopher starts a six month regime of anti-depressants and anti-psychotic medications the reader will be swept away as the family walks and then runs with Christopher as he rages, becomes increasingly violent, suicidal and ultimately committed to psychiatric hospitals.
