Containing 200 archive images from the Newcastle Evening Chronicle's picture library, accompanied by captions, this work gives an insight into the everyday lives of people living in the East End. The East End of Newcastle is a residential area flourishing with small industries and shops, ready to face the challenges of the twenty-first century.
