When Antonio Anselmo Emediato was born in 2005, his mother and I were already separated. He lived every day of his life in his first year or so in the ''The House in the Forest'' where we all lived. After that, he went to live with his mother in an apartment, but he always spent time every week at his father's house, even as a little baby. After a while, his mother remarried. Antonio grew up between two households, with two families, happy and without any traumas. Antonio loves videogames and movies on TV, but when we take a walk together, he always asks to go to a bookstore. He is growing up around books. When he was six, not knowing yet how to read or write, he saw me writing a book and asked how books were born. ''We sit in front of a computer and we write'' -- I answered. ''But what about when we don't know yet how to read?'' -- asked Antonio. ''Well, you say something and someone else can write that'' -- I said, a little irritated. ''OK. Let's start then.'' -- Antonio said.
