Passionately told from the point of view of a simple peasant, Mesakhuti Mai-Min has all the ingredients of a war novel: heroism, betrayal, love, suffering, death and the struggle between good and evil.About the AuthorMikael Adonai is a well-known Eritrean writer and artist. He has written numerous short stories and novels during the war years as well as in the post-independence period for which he won literary awards and recognition. He has also won international acclaim for his paintings in exhibitions in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan, Europe, North America and Singapore. He lives in Asmara, Eritrea.
