"Fixed point theory is one of the important tools of nonlinear analysis that has found significant applications in various fields. The most famous conclusion in this theory is the Banach contraction principle which was proved in 1922 by the Stefan Banach. A huge number of researchers have been provided many results in this field from different of views during last decades. Each contraction is a uniformly continuous map while the researchers sought to use discontinuous functions. A variety of contractions have been introduced over the years. This led to the introduction of a variety of contractions to create the conditions for the use of the vast space of discontinuous functions. During this time, various innovations were made by researchers and the fixed-point theory was reviewed on deterrent mathematical structures such topological and metric spaces, normal structures, partial and cone metrics, b-metrics and so on. Some of these structures have not been able to develop much because in practice they have not been able to find effective applications in other areas. It has been used a variety of techniques for the wide range of research. Some mistakes and gaps were made along the way. Naturally, most of the appeared mistakes were unintentional. Many efforts have been made to create a variety of generalizations, but it proved that some are false ones. The aim of this book is to familiar young researchers with some of the mistakes, gaps and false generalizations.
