Since his professional debut in the second half of the 1960s, internacional critics and periodicals have paid constant attention to the work of Livio Vacchini (Locarno, 1933). After taking a degree in architecture at the Federal Polytechnic of Zurich in 1958, and a period of further training abroad and in Switzerland, Vacchini worked for five years with Luigi Snozzi.
