Drawing on information gathered from a study of the Indian Ocean Tsunami of December 26, 2004, this book explores the development of methodologies for predicting and preparing for tsunamis. It provides a review of tsunami science and indicates thrust areas which have the potential to improve temporal and spatial resolution of tsunami prediction.
