When asked by men, "What can I do to bring vision to my family and win the hearts of my children?" my first response is to urge fathers to begin the daily practice of family worship. I try to explain that no other single act will do more to reinstate fathers as the patriarchal leaders of their families, to bring peace and hope to wives, to disciple children, or to foster family unity than the regular practice of worshiping Christ as a family. The next comment is, "I want to have family devotions, but I don't know what to do." This book answers the five questions I hear from mothers and fathers desperate to begin the journey: What is family worship? Why should I do it? What practical tools do other families use in their family worship? How can I start? How do I make it a daily practice?
