A tribute to the airmen of the Essex county leading up to and throughout the First World War, this book aims to create a record of the Essex men who joined up with the Royal Flying Corps, the Royal Air Force and the Royal Naval Air Service. It also considers airmen from overseas and around the UK who were stationed at Essex aerodromes in the WWI.
