English Panorama 2 is the second part of a two-level general English course for adult and young adult learners at post-CAE level. It will be used by those who wish to pursue their English studies for professional or academic reasons, or for personal enjoyment. Each unit focuses on a different genre or style of written or spoken English, such as interviews, slogans, songs, newspaper editorials and travelogues. Grammar structures are studied in the context of different styles of writing or speaking, and those that commonly cause difficulties at this level are revised. Integrated vocabulary practice concentrates especially on collocations, idioms and word-building. Study skills sections are included to promote effective study habits. Students and teachers can plan their courses and review progress by selecting units from the detailed map at the beginning of the book.
