This is a major scholarly treatment of Karl Barth's ethics of reconciliation (the final section of his Church Dogmatics). It re-interprets Barth's work as an ethical dogmatics, and focuses on the neglected theme of human agency, as well as on Barth's understanding of Christian baptism.
