Ten people receive mysterious invitations to a luxurious house on an island off the coast of southern England. The judge thinks the invitation is from a friend; the secretary thinks she is going for a job. None of them find what they expect. Their host has not arrived but a voice on a gramophone record accuses each of them in turn -of murder! One by one ten little china statues break. One by one the guests on the island die... until there are none.
