Second in a series of periodic reports about competitiveness of the Basque Country published by Orkestra-Basque Institute of Competitiveness this report measures the competitive performance of the Basque Country and of its firms, linking their performance to the regionÆs positioning in innovation. In the second part it analyzes a number of critical factors of regional competitiveness as driving forces for the transition to the new innovation-based competitive stage.
