Hank Wahlberg, an avid northern pike angler, works at VisualFish with his lifelong friend, Winston Farrell, and several other partners. Unbeknownst to Hank, Winnie - as everyone calls Winston - also has ties to the Mexican drug cartel.

For Winnie, deception, kidnapping, and murder are all relatively easy. Hank and his remaining partners at VisualFish, discovering Winnie's extortion of company funds, legally expel him, giving him no other access to the company's assets.

Winnie is suffering from acute depression and rampant addiction to cocaine, and his mind is now burning with thoughts of vengeance; his mission is to take revenge on Hank.
