Harry Roberts is a Cardiff journalist haunted by his failure to cover the Aberfan disaster. One year on, Fleet Street's intrusive reporting of the disaster is smearing the picture-perfect image of Wales. Harry has become embroiled in local politics, but the Welsh Office boys aren't happy with his articles, and they have bigger plans. Driven by an inseparable mix of patriotism and guilt, Harry must persuade the national press to lay off Aberfan. His love for Wales may run deep, but will he allow it to compromise his journalistic ethics?
